Hectic mornings
Rough days
Busy schedules
Writing, buying, selling, packing, working, parenting
Some days I could cry.
Yesterday, though….
Two little things:
A hot cup of coffee delivered to my door
A handwritten thank-you note delivered to my mailbox
It’s the little things
That keep me going
Beautiful. I agree – the little things can be significant in keeping us going.
Great poem! Those are two things that would keep me going, too!
Those little things keep us going!
OH! I’m so happy for you! I know yesterday was rough getting out the door and no Dunkin’ Donuts — it was almost like someone knew exactly what you needed! Totally slice-worthy! Thanks for boosting us through your poem! 🙂

That’s so nice! I felt for you with the lack of coffee yesterday.
Simple, to the point, well structured! I could feel those hectic moments. I love the end….you deserved a cup of coffee and a note!!!! You do so much for others! Glad your hectic morning got a bit easier!
Oh, the little things mean so much! Hang in there during this crazy time in your life. Do what you can and know that soon things will slow … school ending, summer arriving, a new house unpacked and enjoying just living.
It really is the little things, the unexpected joys that keep us going.
Awww. Those little things DO mean so much! Like, your poem. 🙂
I just received one of these – it so made my day! And to think that I used to send and receive these so often!
Oh…it’s the little things! I could feel your sense of being overwhelmed through this poem. Keep calm and carry on! 🙂
I completely agree! It is the little things that make such a difference! Great poem
It is always the little things that make the big difference. Read “Girl with a Cape”. You will relate!
